Great Activities Publishing The Great Activities Publishing Company was founded in 1982 by Artie Kamiya. The company’s first product was the Great Activities Newspaper, a small 8-page publication developed so more elementary physical education teachers could share their "great activities" with others.
Working from the family’s kitchen table, he produced the individual pages by hand with several black pens, sheets of paper, and an ever-present bottle of White Out. When the 8-page master was completed, it was taken to the printer where copies were made and then mailed out to each subscriber. This was the country’s first elementary physical education publication with a large national readership.
At the present time, about 3,000 physical education teachers subscribe to this publication which has been expanded to include middle school physical education as well. Today, the Great Activities Publishing Company has published scores of great physical education books, conducted hundreds of physical education workshops, and has helped tens of 1000’s of physical education teachers across the United States with new and innovative products/services such as the PEP Club (Physical Education Prestige).

Acorn Press
is the publisher and distributor of the best books by Nisargadatta
Maharaj the Hindu sage whose dialogues have astounding philosophical
depth and unexpected uncommon sense and character.
The volume I
Am That, by Nisargadatta Maharaj, edited by Sudhakar S. Dikshit
(Acorn Press) has been hailed as a “modern spiritual classic.” It is
a collection of the timeless conversations of Sri Nisargadatta
Maharaj, one of the greatest Twentieth Century sages of India.
Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj was a teacher who did not propound any
ideology or religion but gently unwrapped the mystery of the self.
His message is simple, direct and yet sublime. I Am That preserves
his dialogues with the followers who came from around the world
seeking guidance in destroying false identities. The sage’s sole
concern was with human suffering and the ending of suffering. It was
his mission to guide the individual to an understanding of his true
nature and the timelessness of being. He taught that mind must
recognize and penetrate its own state of being, not “being this or
that, here or there, then or now,” but just timeless being.
